Why Iridescent lens

  • a piece of glass or other transparent substance with curved sides for concentrating or dispersing light rays, used singly (as in a magnifying glass) or with other lenses (as in a telescope).
  • ▪the light-gathering device of a camera, typically containing a group of compound lenses.
  • ▪an object or device that focuses or otherwise modifies the direction of movement of light, sound, electrons, etc.

I like to see with color. I like to see the color when darkness occurs too. I want to be "light gathering" and I want to see "from different angles" as I consider politics, direction, thought, and inspiration.  Thus the title of my new blog, Iridescent Lens.

Why a Wall is a Crazy Idea; Improving Immigration is not a Quick Fix

To spend a lot of money on a wall to fix the immigration problem is a crazy idea. A wall will only make the problem worse. You can dig under a wall. You can fly over a wall. You can blow up a wall. You climb over a wall. You can make a hole in the wall. Walls are not impenetrable. Instead we need to think deeply about this immigration issue, and make good decisions about it. First, we have to consider reasons for illegal immigration. People come for opportunity, opportunity to make money, opportunity to live a better life, and opportunity to increase their status back home. I really love being an American and living in such a beautiful country. I honor our great laws, values, and government, and I am so concerned about the abuse of power President Trump and his Republican cronies have supported in the past few years.
